FEB 2nd UPDATE:

compare the last two songs i posted today.

1) Tainted Love/ Where Did Our Love Go by Soft Cell

Soft Cell was a band of the 1980s that produced synthe-bizzare music playing with sounds and melding what we thought chords were, to make a punk rock sex melded romantic poppy song that people could groove to our just marinate and enjoy the simple pleasures of staring each other in the eyes.

2) Oh La La by Goldfrapp

Goldfrapp is a modern pop duo who produced more eurobeat pop song full of synth and an almost modern version of Madonna (what does that even mean?) with a weird mix of Devo behind looking like ziggy stardust.  This song is almost an ode to Soft Cell’s ‘Where Did Our love Go’, with a faster more eurotrance beat and startling finish…

What do you think?

Because personally I think its the difference between making love and having sex, between the seduction an a drunken romp in the alley next to the bar.  So to Soft Cell, Where did our style go?
